HELP IS NEEDED! The Maricopa Village Christian School in Laveen is in need of volunteers in the food service department.
A local volunteer from the Glendale SDA church who was helping to start the food service program has health conditions that have temporarily rendered the person(s) unable to provide the service. The school is asking for any number of volunteers who are willing to provide the meals as well as prepare them. There should be four meals provided each week for fifteen students. The food is to be prepared at home and delivered to the school on Sunday where it will be placed in a freezer for use during the school week. Meals should be healthy, wholesome, and vegetarian with as little dairy as possible. There is reimbursement provided for those who purchase the food so please provide any receipts.

will be singing at Freedom Plazaon June 27th at 3:00 pm. It is located on the southwest corner of Thunderbird and Plaza del Rio. Join us for music and stories. Come be blessed and be a blessing to others that are in need. During July and August we won’t be having the services. We will resume in September. We need your support as several have already gone for the summer.

Next Sabbath, JULY 4, Pastor Greg and Nelli Webster formally become our Peoria Sun Cities Church pastoral couple. We will celebrate their arrival with a special fellowship dinner that will follow the worship service. Please bring a generous salad or sandwich dish; enough to feed you, your family and two others … going a little lighter than usual on deserts. Also bring one or two non-perishable food items to the Kitchen before the service to provide a collective house-warming gift with which Greg and Nelli can stock their cupboards as they settle into their new home among us.

Chinle Adventist School needs a fulltime teacher for the 2015-16 school years. The current teacher, Annalee Whitaker, is “retiring” to be a fulltime mommy for their two adopted Navajo children and their third child due to arrive in October! She and her family will continue to live on campus and she will be available to the new teacher for continuity and support, but cannot teach full time next year. The registration fee is $400, but there is a discount for early registration! If you register April 30-May 31 you only pay $270, June 1-June 30 is $330, and after July 1 it goes to the full price of $400. The VBS team will be meeting every Sunday beginning May 3 at 10:00 AM in the Junior Sabbath School classroom to plan and work on decorations.
The children will learn the story of salvation from the birth of Jesus to the promise of Heaven and the New Earth. The program is exciting, intriguing and engaging while presenting the truth about our God in a way that will keep children coming back to grow deeper and deeper in Christ.
